This shoe was featured in Editor’s Pick today and is the collaborative work of New Balance and local Cambridge Boutique, Concepts. They teamed up to create a JFK-inspired maritime themed shoe. Kennedy grew up sailing, took part in the Navy, and after years of collecting, filled his house with ship models, scrimshaw and sailing trophies.
Not sure if it will make its way into some locals’ boat shoe rotation, but in case it does, the The Kennedy comes out March 2011.
